Rocket M5 is a powerful outdoor unit for the 5 GHz band with airmax technology and GPS for synchronization – airsync function. Unit allows real communication speeds up to 150 Mbps. This allows the creation of backbone connection or access points.
Thanks to the integrated GPS receiver it uses airsync technology to synchronize transmit with other airsync AP. This allows effective use of bandwidth to increase speed and reduce latency of all APs. The GPS receiver works for flawless transmit time synchronization. In case of using this feautre unit, it has to be set as master and rest units as slaves. Another advantage is along with higher transmission speed cause than normal 802.11 N also use of Time Division multiplex TDMA. This allows you to connect more than 300 clients and maintain low latency. Output for airmax MIMO antennas are 2 rsma connectors and an rsma connector for connecting external GPS antenna.
